Mrs. Roxanna "Roxie" (Crouch) Davis, 61, of Topeka, crossed the bridge with Jesus on October 8, 2012. She was born November 14, 1950 in Wellington, KS, the daughter of L.C. and Betty (Perkins) Crouch.
Roxie's family includes her husband Wayne; daughters, Jamie (Allan) Cooper, and Tracy (Chad) Steel; sister, Marty Gale; grandchildren, Caeden Cooper, Jackson and Katie Steel; and father-in-law, Dale A. Davis, Sr. Roxie is preceded in death by her mother-in-law, Ruby Davis.
Roxie graduated from KSU with a BS and a MS Degree in Elementary Education. She taught for 32 years in the Shawnee Heights School District at Berryton Elementary School. She was a member of Highland Heights Christian Church in Tecumseh, KS.
A celebration of her life will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, October 20th at Berryton Elementary School, 2921 SE 69th Street, Berryton, KS 66409. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to the Jars of Clay Children's Center at Highland Heights Christian Church, 2930 SE Tecumseh Rd., Tecumseh, KS 66542.
