Roy Clifford "Clif" Vanderslice, Jr., 69, of Topeka, passed away on Friday, June 08, 2012 at his home. He was born on October 26, 1942 in Reno, Kansas to Roy Clifford, Sr. and Nellie Mae (Channel) Vanderslice.
He was U.S. Army veteran. Cliff and his wife Judy own and operate Metro Shampoo Services in Topeka.
Clif is survived by his wife Judy, two children, Marie Kennedy of Osage City, KS and Roy Vanderslice, III of Topeka, three brothers, John, Nathan and Ed Vanderslice, one sister, Ruth Ann Faulke, three grandchildren, RuthAnna Trautloff, Shana Vanderlice and Crimson Vanderslice and three great grandchildren, Jordon Supernaw, Daniel Supernaw and Gage Klieber. He was preceded in death by one sister, Ella Mae Calvert.
A memorial service will be held at 11 am on Wednesday, June 13 at Penwell-Gabel Southeast Chapel. Visitation will be held from 6:30 pm until 7:30 pm on Tuesday, June 12, 2012 at the funeral home.
