Roy E. Hoag, Sr.

Roy E. Hoag, Sr., 84, of Topeka, died Sunday, Nov. 6, 2011 at his home. He was born Sept. 20, 1927 in Leavenworth, KS, the son of Roy M. and Alice S. (Leavitt) Hoag.
Roy served as a private in the US Army, and worked as auto body refinisher. He married Judith R. White in 1950 in Topeka. She preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Richard, Robert and James; daughters, Julia and Connie; son, Ronald; grandson, Richard Dean Hoag Jr. He is survived by sisters, Dorothy, Delores, Darlene and Donna; children, Roy Jr. (Peggy), Mary (Lloyd), Alice (James), Robert; grandkids, LeAnn, Ryan, Tina, Bobbie Jo, Michael, Tonya, Tammy, Matthew, Betty, Rachel, Ronnie; and numerous great-grandkids.
Memorial services will be held at a later date. Inurnment will be at Rochester Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Roy E. Hoag, Sr. Memorial Fund c/o Roy E. Hoag, Jr.
