Ruby F. Sweet, 82, of Topeka, passed away on Monday, January 29, 2018 at her home. She was born October 19, 1935 in Cedar Vale, Kansas, the daughter of Paul Lee and Lillie Mae (Logsdon) Wonser.
Ruby was a homemaker.
Ruby married Raymond Sweet on January 17, 1956 in Chautaugua, Kansas. He survives. Other survivors their children, Samuel Paul Sweet and Becky (Mark) Renyer of Topeka, three grandchildren, Keith Sweet, Matt Renyer, Jessica Lillibridge, six great-grandchildren and her siblings Opal Knudson, Harold Wonser and Art Wonser.
Ruby was preceded in death by one daughter, Eva Mae Sweet in January, 1963, one son, Wally Sweet in May, 2016 and her siblings, Levi, Dave, Leslie "Smoke", Vernon and Don.
A celebration of Ruby's life will be held at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, February 3, 2018 at Penwell-Gabel Southeast Chapel. Private inurnment will take place at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to The American Diabetes Association, P.O. Box 11454, Alexandria, Virginia 22312.
