Ruth A. Redenbaugh Rupp, 84, of Topeka, passed away on Friday, October 31, 2014. She was born November 26, 1929 in Carbondale, KS, the daughter of Jess and Marguerite Caldwell Redenbaugh.
Ruth graduated from Lyndon High School. She has resided in Topeka since 1948. She was employed at National Reserve Life Company. Ruth ran a successful Tupperware business for many years and was also an accomplished seamstress.
Ruth married Lloyd D. Rupp on March 9, 1957 in Topeka. He survives. Other survivors include one daughter, Marilyn (Darwin) Nichols of Topeka, one son, Craig (Angel) Rupp of Valley Falls, KS, four grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren.
Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, November 4, 2014 at Penwell-Gabel Southeast Chapel. Burial will follow in Vassar Cemetery, Vassar, KS. Ruth will lie in state and the family will receive friends from 5:30-7:30 p.m. Monday, November 3, 2014 at the funeral home.
