Ruth Ellen Boyles, 77, of Topeka, passed away Tuesday, March 17, 2015. She was born March 20, 1937, in Valley Falls, Kansas, the daughter of Oliver Gene and Velma (Green) Stockwell. Ruth grew up in Valley Falls and attended public schools there.
Ruth married Ira Boyles in 1972 in Topeka. She was a stay at home mother who loved her family dearly.
Ruth is survived by her 2 daughters, Donna Berg of Topeka and Cheryl Ball of Carbondale; 10 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Ira and daughter, Lori Ann Mack.
Ruth enjoyed garage selling, yard art and collecting knick-knacks.
Ruth was cremated. A memorial service was held at 6:00 p.m., Thursday, March 19th at Joyful Harvest Church, 1616 NE Seward Avenue in Topeka. Interment will be held at Rochester Cemetery.
