Sada Alice Scheibe

Sada Alice Scheibe, 97, of Topeka, passed away on Saturday September 1, 2012 at Plaza West Nursing Home. She was born February 16, 1915, the daughter of Ben and Hazel Kinch. Sada was a member of Family of God Church. She was an avid caregiver and gardener. She is survived by her children, Linda Sheperd, Howard Scheibe and Holly Houpt; five grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Alva and brother, Homer Kinch. Funeral services will be held at 11 am on Thursday, September 6 at Dove Cremation & Funeral Service, 4020 SW 6th Ave, Topeka. Burial will follow in the Penwell-Gabel Cemetery at 6th and Gage, Topeka. Visitation will be held from 6 pm until 8 pm on Wednesday at the funeral home.
