Sally Ballou, 61, of Topeka passed away November 27, 2012 at home with her family. She and her husband of 33 years, Scott Ballou, have two children, Hannah and Reese.
Topekans will recall Sally's many appearances on local stages from the 1970's-90's. She was a gifted actress. Memorable roles include Martha in Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf" and the Marquise de Merteuil in Les Liaisons Dangereuses at Topeka Civic Theatre and the Nurse in Romeo & Juliet at Washburn. In recent years Sally was able to travel the world with her daughter. Just last month she was camel-trekking in the Sahara desert. She is also survived by her brother Tom Jones and his family.
