Samantha Elayne "Sammy" Coffee, 16, Topeka, passed away at 7:45 a.m., Wednesday, January 20, 2016 from injuries sustained in a two vehicle accident.
Sammy was born January 19, 2000, in Topeka, the daughter of Caroline (Tetuan) Hildebrandt and Todd Coffee. Sammy was a sophomore at Seaman High School. She was a talented flutist for the Award winning Seaman Marching Band. She was very artistic and shared her creativity with friends and family.
She is survived by her parents, Caroline and Mike Hildebrandt; a brother, Zack Corber and wife, Clare; a nephew and niece, Lee Jr. and Abigail Corber, all of Topeka; her father, Todd Coffee, Kansas City; maternal grandmother, Beverly Tetuan, Topeka and other grandmother, Karen Hildebrandt, Rossville, Ks; paternal grandparents, Sue and Tilman Coffee, Carbondale, Ks; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Joseph Tetuan, Jr. and other grandfather, Verlen Hildebrandt.
Sammy will be remembered for her bubbly and friendly personality and bright smile. She touched more people's lives than she knew.
A celebration of life service will be 11 a.m., Tuesday, January 26, 2016 at the Northland Christian Church, 3102 NW Topeka Blvd, Topeka. The family will receive friends from 9 a.m. until the service time on Tuesday at the church. Cremation will follow the service. Dove Cremation & Funeral Service in Topeka is assisting the family.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to C. Hildebrandt, in memory of Samantha Coffee sent in care of Silver Lake Bank, P.O. Box 8330, Topeka, KS 66608.
Graveside inurnment will be held at 4:30 p.m., Friday, February 5, 2016 at Rochester Cemetery, 1200 NW Menninger Road, Topeka, Kansas 66618.
