Sandra K. "Sandy" Olliso, 55, of Topeka, passed away Saturday, July 5, 2014. She was born July 29, 1958, in Lincoln, Nebraska, the daughter of Walter and Donna (Benton) Frederick. Sandy was raised in Topeka, attended Tecumseh South Grade School and graduated from Shawnee Heights High School in 1976.
Sandy was employed by the Adjutant General's Department and was a member of Dover Federated Church.
Sandy married Russell Olliso, Jr. in 1984 at Topeka. They later divorced. She married Charles N. Brown in 1990 at Dover. They also were divorced. Sandy is survived by her daughter, Casey Cross (Kody) and granddaughter, Karson all of Ft. Riley, KS; her son, Kelsey T. Olliso of Topeka; brothers, Randy, Walt and Brad Frederick; and sisters, Dottie Clark and Connie Higbee. She was preceded in death by her parents.
A memorial service will be held at 3:00 pm., Saturday, July 12, 2014, at Dover Federated Church, 13442 SW 57th St., Dover, Kansas 66420. Inurnrment will be at a later date at Rochester Cemetery in Topeka. Memorial contributions may be made to the Sandra K. Olliso Memorial Fund, c/o Envista Credit Union, or the Dover Federated Church.
