Sandy Steiner, 53, passed from this world October 22, 2013, surrounded by the love of her family, marking the conclusion of her wonderful life. She was born August 19, 1960. She leaves behind a legacy of love and compassion in the hearts and minds of anyone who had the honor to meet her. She will be deeply missed and forever loved.
She is survived by her husband, Marc; father, Don Salyer; children, Matthew (Amanda), Jonathan (Rebecca) and Jacob; granddaughter, Alyvia; siblings, Rick Salyer, Dave Salyer and Kim Anderson; and step-siblings, Bob Alford and Pat Warford. She was preceded in death by her mother, Helen "Jean" Geiss and step-mother, Sharon Salyer.
Memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, October 26, at Dove Cremation & Funeral Service, 4020 SW 6th Avenue, Topeka. In lieu of flowers, donations can be sent to St. Francis Health Center Foundation, Midland Care, or The American Cancer Society.
