Santos Modesto Espinal-Funez

Santos Modesto Espinal-Funez, 46, of Topeka, passed away on Friday, February 11, 2022 at a Topeka hospital. He was born June 15, 1975 in Choluteca, Honduras, the son of Pablo Espinal and Maxima Funez.
Santos came to the United States in 2001. He was employed in the roofing business. He was a member of the El Encuentro Church.
Santos married Alejandra Valdez on March 3, 2017 in Topeka. She survives. Other survivors include children, Emmanuel Espinal, Mariby Espinal, Daniel Osorto, one granddaughter, his parents, six brothers, three sisters, several nieces and nephews and many friends and family that loved him.
Services will be held at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, February 19, 2022 at Dove Southwest Chapel, 3700 SW Wanamaker Rd. where the family will receive friends from 8:00 a.m. until service time.
