Sarah Jane Munoz , 71, of Topeka, Kansas, died Thursday, July 30, at her home surrounded by family and friends. She was born July 10, 1938 the daughter of George and Frances (DeGraff) Hipsher.
Sarah was preceded in death by her sister, Georgia Herriman.
She is survived by her husband of 42 years, Eloy Munoz; two brothers, William Hipsher and J.R. Hipsher, both of Topeka; four daughters, Sabrina Slater, Julie Soendker, Mary Munoz and Kathy Munoz, all of Topeka; 2 grandchildren, and 2 stepchildren, David Munoz and Maria Munoz, Topeka.
The funeral service will be held at Dove Funeral Home, 4020 SW 6th, on Wednesday, August 5, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. Interment at Mt. Calvary Cemetery
Mrs. Munoz will lie in state after 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 4 at Dove Funeral Home where a visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 p.m with a rosary recited at 7:00 p.m.
Memorial contributions may be made to Midland Hospice Care, 200 SW Frazier Circle, Topeka, KS 66606.
