Shaneek L. McClain, 40, of Topeka, went to be with her Lord on Saturday, June 22, 2019. She was born November 1, 1978 in Independence, Kansas, the daughter of Kenneth and Janice (Armstrong) Jones.
Shaneek was employed as a cook at Tanglewood Health and Rehabilitation.
Shaneek married Wilbert McClain. He survives. Other survivors include children, DeMarko Johnson of Denver, Colorado, Angelo Jones, DeVanta Jones and Marquies Jones all of Topeka, one grandson, Kyson Johnson, her mother, Janice Armstrong of Topeka, her father, Kenneth Jones of Mt. Vernon, New York, her two brothers, Jerome Jones of Topeka, Theodeous Armstrong of Cherryville, Kansas and a host of extended family and friends.
Memorial services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, June 29, 2019 at Dove Southeast Chapel, 2843 SE Minnesota Ave. Private inurnment will take place at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the American Cancer Society, 1315 SW Arrowhead Rd., Topeka, Kansas 66604.
