Sharolyn Ann Felton, 69, of Topeka, passed away on September 24, 2013 at her home. She was born on July 13, 1944 in Muncie, Indiana, the daughter of Maurice E. and Lila F. (Richardson) Felton. She graduated from Albany High School in Albany, Indiana and earned her master's degree from Ball State University.
Sharolyn taught math at Lake View High School in Battle Creek, Michigan. She was a member of Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Mensa and various other organizations.
She is survived by two sisters, Beverley Lehman and her husband, Bob of Albany, Indiana and Janet Finley of Muncie, Indiana; one brother, Richard Felton and his wife, Gloria of Farmland, Indiana; nine nieces and nephews, Bob Lehman, Jr. and his wife, Debbie; Michael Alan Lehman and his wife, Debbie; Lisa Clawson and her husband, Mark; Barbara Finley; Jonathan Finley and his wife, Krista; Christine Powell and her husband, David; Matthew Finley; Daniel Felton and his wife, Carma and Nancy Hunt and her husband, Sherman and 15 great-nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and nephew, Adam Finley.
A graveside ceremony will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, September 30, 2013 at Penwell-Gabel Cemetery, 3616 SW 6th Avenue, Topeka, Kansas.
