Sharon A. Cope 66, of Topeka, formally of Salina, passed away on Saturday, August 4, 2012.
She was born August 23, 1945, in Waynesboro, PA, the daughter of Paul & Ann Eshom. Sharon was a graduate of Newton High School.
Sharon married Phillip Cope on December 18, 1964, he precedes her in death.
She enjoyed volunteering for Heartland Hospice, involved in many clubs at Manor Care Health Services, and spending time with her family, especially her grandkids.
Survivors include two children, Wayne Cope and Carey Cope, of Topeka; three grandchildren, Zach, Bayleigh and Emmerson, all of Topeka; two sisters, Paula (Pierre) Mangones, of Atlanta, and Betty (Larry) Morrissette, of Overland Park, KS.
Sharon was preceded in death by her husband, her parents and her daughter, Audra Major.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, August, 9, 2012, at Mount Hope Cemetery, Topeka.
