Sharon F. Bailey, 69, of Topeka, formerly of Chandler, Arizona, passed away Friday, January 15, 2016.
She was born May 15, 1946, in Lancaster, Wisconsin, the daughter of John and Leona Slaght.
Sharon was raised in Lancaster and graduated from Lancaster High School in 1964. Sharon became a Registered Nurse, starting in Madison, Wisconsin and later working in Chandler, Arizona.
Sharon married Robert M. Bailey on November 14, 2013, at Miami, Oklahoma. He survives. Sharon is also survived by son, Jeff Hugill (Rosalie), Chandler, AZ; siblings, Lucille Olsen, Milten, WI, Pearl Nivin, Ft. Atkinson, WI, Shirley Ech, Tomah, WI, Bev Dahl, Cottage Grove, WI, Karen Lemon, Cottagedale, TN, Darlene Koeller, Racine, WI; grandchildren, Tom and Abbie Hugill, Chandler, AZ; two step-children, Robert M. Bailey, Jr., and Michelle L. Pavone, six step-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Loren, Jerry, and Terry Slaght; sisters, Carol Nevin and Betty Cornwell; ex-husband, Paul Hugill; and husband, Roger Niece.
Per her wishes, Sharon was cremated and no services will be held.
