Sheila J. (Spring) Polter

Sheila J. (Spring) Polter, 61, of Topeka, passed away on Monday, November 18, 2019. She was born November 18, 1958 in Topeka, the daughter of Raymond L. and Lois (Stratton) Spring.
Sheila graduated from Topeka High School. She was a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church. Sheila loved her family and friends, cats and music. She never forgot a face or a name and never knew a stranger.
Sheila married Robert Polter. He survives. Other survivors include one daughter, Janni Willson of Topeka and three siblings, Stephanie Spring of Shawnee, Kansas, Susan Schiffelbein of Baldwin City, Kansas and Lewis (Mona) Spring of Topeka.
Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, December 13, 2019 at Westminster Presbyterian Church. Private inurnment will take place at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to Midland Care, 200 SW Frazier Circle, Topeka, Kansas 66606.
Dove Southeast Chapel, 2843 SE Minnesota Ave. is assisting the family.
