Shelline Smoot, 63, of Topeka, passed away on Sunday, December 6, 2020. She was born July 8, 1957 in Topeka, the daughter of Robert E. and Rosalie F. (Hammond) Wilson.
Shelline graduated from Highland Park High School. She was employed by the State of Kansas for over forty years before retiring. She was a member of Cap-Teens Squares and Family.
Shelline married Michael Smoot. They later divorced.
Survivors include children, Erin (Jason) Glenn of Topeka, Robert Smoot of Missouri, Felicity (Jeremy) Kracht of Carbondale, four grandchildren, William, Deborah, Cooper and Wyatt, her sister, Marcia (Donald) Wilson of Topeka and several nieces and nephews.
Cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Shelline's Life will be held at a later date. Private inurnment will take place at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to Children's Mercy Hospital c/o Ramona Rosson, 2420 Pershing Rd.,Kansas City, Missouri 64108.
