Sherry L. White

Sherry L. White, 50, of Topeka, passed away on Tuesday, October 7, 2014. She was born December 20, 1963 in Fort Worth, TX, the daughter of Maurice White and Kaye Wallace Sells.

Sherry graduated from Melvern High School in Melvern, KS and obtained an AS degree in Health Science from Washburn University. She was an avid biker and runner. Sherry was also very active in the Topeka community and enjoyed volunteering.

Survivors include her children, John (Amber) Freerksen, Cody (Whitney) Freerksen, Malori Gales and Mataia Gales, three grandsons, Breckin, Dallen and Warner, her father, Maurice White and her mother, Kaye Sells, and her siblings, Donald Maley, Terry Rentz and Thomas Maley and her beloved dog, AJ.

Memorial services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Monday, October 13, 2014 at Penwell-Gabel Southeast Chapel where the family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until service time at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the organization of the donors' choice.
