Sheryl Sparks

Sheryl L. Sparks, 58, of Topeka, Kansas passed away April 19, 2015. She was born August 8, 1956 in Aberdeen, Maryland to Wendell and Nada Lee (Dilling) Sparks. She attended elementary school in Aberdeen, MD and attended middle school and graduated from high school in Wetmore, Kansas.

Sheryl was employed as an Administrative Specialist at Kansas Corporation Commission. She enjoyed baking, reading, sewing and genealogy.

She is survived by her sister Ann Wimmer (Roy) of Holyrood, KS; four nephews Daryl Wimmer (Angie) of Independence, MO, Brent Wimmer of Cottonwood, AZ, Phillip Honeycutt of Dexter, MO, Kevin Honeycutt (Shannon)of Belgrade, MT; five great-nieces: Mariah Wimmer (Charles) of Independence, MO, Jenny Kohler of Cottonwood, AZ, Kaylee Honeycutt of Dexter, MO, Jessalyn Honeycutt of Belgrade, MT, Emma Wimmer of Independence, MO; four great-nephews Steven Wimmer of Eudora, KS, Matthew and Sean Honeycutt of Dexter, MO, Caelan Honeycutt of Belgrade, MT; two step-great-nephews Jordan Trosper (Jamie) of Blue Springs, MO and Nick Trosper of Independence, MO; one step great-great-nephew Landon Trosper of Blue Springs, MO; and one cousin Danny Miller of Topeka, KS.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister Judy Lee (Sparks) Honeycutt.

A Celebration of Life will be held on May 1, 2015 from 3-5PM at Dove Cremation & Funeral Service followed by inurnment in Fairview Cemetery at Goff, Kansas.
