Shirley Ann Rooker, 80, of Topeka, passed away on Monday, March 16, 2015 at Midland Hospice House in Topeka. She was born October 8, 1934 in Richland, KS, the daughter of Charley and Esther Gerish Moore.
Shirley attended Richland and Overbrook schools. She dealt in antique sales for many years.
Shirley married Edmond Rooker on March 19, 1955 in Richland. He survives. Other survivors include one daughter, Candice A. Alejos of Topeka, two granddaughters, Jessica Alejos and Teresa Wyatt, six great-grandchildren, Sebastian, Darian, Gage, Wednesday, Lindsay and Kiernan, and her siblings, Jeannie Matney of Richland and Wayne Moore of Harveyville, KS.
Memorial services and inurnment will take place at a later date. Penwell-Gabel Southeast Chapel is assisting the family.
