Shirley Marie Cazeault, 87, of Topeka, passed away on Friday, July 23, 2021. She was born on July 22, 1934 in Clay Center, the daughter of Oren and Verda (Lloyd) Todd.
Shirley graduated from Clay Center High School and attended college at Kansas State University and Columbus, Ohio where she earned her Business Degree. She was employed at K-Mart for many years before retiring and later went to work as a Receptionist for Atria Hearthstone for 30 years before retiring in 2021.
Shirley married Bernard Cazeault on November 11, 1954 in Oak Hill, Kansas. He preceded her in death July 14, 1981. She was also preceded in death by her great-granddaughter, Madison Frisbie, one brother, Arnold (Hazel) Todd, two sisters, Glenda (Dave) Kirby and Janice Todd and her two nieces, Kathy Kirby and Linda Kirby.
Shirley is survived by her loving daughter, Pearl Hawkins of Topeka, son, Mike Cazeault of Hebron, Ohio, nine grandchildren, Jeff Cazeault, Jason Cazeault, Ronda (Jerome) Benning, Bernadette "Bernie" Huff, Jody (April) Hawkins, Ashley Hawkins, Staci Hawkins, Nikki (Kris) Bilbrey, Heather (James) Frisbie, fifteen great-grandchildren, Jas (Phil) Benibo, Gaige Christopher, Jacob Coleman, Brooklynn Patterson, Jake Frisbie, Ryan Hawkins, Shawntasea (Jaylon) Jackson, Jaryn Benning, Taylor Hawkins, Tate Bilbrey, Connor Frisbie, Kori Hawkins, Jo' Mhara "Jo" Benning, Chase Hawkins, Charli Hawkins, two great-great-grandchildren, her nephew, Greg Kirby and her niece, Marshalla (Greg) Allen.
A Celebration of Shirley's Life will be held at 6:00 p.m. Monday, July 26, 2021 at Reynolds Lodge at Lake Shawnee, 3315 SE Tinman Circle, Topeka, Kansas 66605. Private inurnment will take place at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the Helping Hands Humane Society, 5720 S.W. 21st St., Topeka, Kansas 66604 or to the American Cancer Society, PO Box 42040, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma 73123-3000.
