Shirley J. Logan, 88, of Topeka, passed away September 25, 2017.
She was born October 28, 1928, in Topeka, Kansas, the daughter of Roy and Mary Estella (Peck) Newell and was a graduate of Seaman High School and attended Washburn University.
She was a member of Sorosis Club in Osage City, Fraternal Order of Eagles Auxiliary #3890, and Women of the Moose Lodge 555.
Shirley married Dale L. Logan on October 30, 1948, in Topeka. He preceded her in death on August 8, 2010.
Survivors include son, James D. Logan; brother, Jack Newell; grandchildren, Jerry Logan, Jason Logan, and Jamie Turner; and eight great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by sister, Catherine Herman.
Shirley was cremated and private services will be held at a later date. Dove Cremation & Funeral Service is assisting the family.
