Shirley June Schmidt

Shirley June Schmidt, 88, of Topeka, passed away Friday, March 24, 2017. She was born June 17, 1928, in Greeley, Colorado, to Herman and Annie Larson.
Shirley is survived by son, Perry (Deborah) Schmidt of Topeka, Kansas; daughter, Cheryl Baker of Thornton, Colorado; grandson, Michael (Jenna) Schmidt of Manhattan, Kansas; granddaughter, Bree (Eric) Andreen of Thornton, Colorado; and two great-grandchildren, Kaitlyn and Camryn.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brother; and husband of 46 years, Samuel Schmidt.
Private services will be held at a later date and interment of the cremated remains will be in Resthaven Memorial Gardens in Fort Collins, Colorado. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions to the National MS Society or Midland Care.
