Soren Dacera Galvez, 20, Topeka, passed away Sunday, April 30, 2017.
Soren was born December 15, 1996 in Inopacan Leyte, Philippines the son of Jesus and Rizalina Galvez.
He graduated from Washburn Rural High School and was currently attending Washburn University.
Survivors include his mother, Rizalina Galvez; sisters, Gina (Jonathan) Allen,Topeka, Girly Galvez, Geraldine Galvez; brother, Saldy Galvez, all of the Philippines; and nephew, Lance Allen, Topeka.
Mass of Christian burial will be held at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, May 6, 2017 at Most Pure Heart of Mary Catholic Church. The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Friday, May 5, 2017 at Penwell-Gabel Southwest Chapel, 3700 SW Wanamaker Road. The Rosary will be prayed at 6:30 p.m.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Most Pure Heart of Mary Catholic School, 1750 SW Stone Avenue, Topeka, KS 66604.
