Stephen Richard Kennedy

Stephen Richard Kennedy, 62, of Topeka, passed away on Wednesday, June 10, 2020 at the Colmery-O'Neil VA Medical Center. He was born December 3, 1957 in Warwick, Rhode Island, the son of Richard R. and Ruth (Spinney) Kennedy.
Stephen graduated from Tollgate High School in Warwick. He was an Army Veteran. He was employed by Topeka Metal Company and the Kansas Expo Center.
Survivors include one daughter, Kari Richmond Hegazy of Leavenworth, his step-children, Terry Harrell of Topeka, Crystal Walton of Topeka, Christopher Pritchard of Topeka, Christina Walton of Topeka, his mother, Ruth Kennedy in Rhode Island, his four siblings, Robert Kennedy, Janet Brown, Susan Carmen and Mike Kennedy all of Rhode Island and his finance, Judy Pritchard of Topeka.
As per Stephen's wishes, cremation has taken place and private inurnment will take place in the Kansas Veterans' Cemetery at Fort Riley at a later date.
