Steven E. Locke, 76, of Topeka, formerly of Blackwell, Oklahoma, passed away Tuesday, November 4, 2014.

He was born August 3, 1938 in Kansas City, MO, the son of Fred R. and Sophye (Moskowitz) Locke.

Steven was a graduate of Blackwell High School. Mr. Locke served in the U.S. Army.

He was a member of Boy Scouts of America, Jaycees, Citizen Band Radio Club, Lions Club and Gideon's International all of Oklahoma.

Survivors include a brother, Alan (Linda) Locke, Topeka, a niece, Karleta Wobus, Topeka, and her children, Vicky Wasser, Duvall, WA, Melanie Wobus, Tulsa, OK and Jessica Wobus, Topeka; two nephews, Tim (Vickie) Locke, Norman, OK, their children, Brandon, Trevor, Baylie and Cheyanne Locke all of Norman, OK and Ron (Kimberly) Locke, Olathe, KS, their children, Britini Locke, Alyssa Argeropoulos, Jasmine Locke and Elijah Locke and two great-great-nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Mr. Locke was cremated. A memorial service will be at 2 p.m., Saturday, November 8, 2014 at the Oak Creek Senior Assisted Living, 3224 SW 29th, Topeka, KS. Dove Cremation & Funeral Service in Topeka is assisting the family.
