Steven Lloyd Munger
Steven Lloyd Munger, 54, Topeka, died Monday, Aug. 11, 2008, the result of an automobile accident.
He was born June 20, 1954 in Santa Ana, CA, the son of Rev. O. Lloyd and Lois Secrease Munger. He graduated from Park Cottage Grove High School, Cottage Grove, MN, and had lived in Topeka over 30 years.
Steve enjoyed NASCAR, traveling, cooking, and music, and played guitar in bands from a young age. He was a caregiver and loved helping people.
Survivors include three sons, Richard Munger (Jodi), Eric Munger, and Ryan Munger (Shannon) all of Janesville, WI; his sister, Bonnie Munger (George Petros) of St. Louis Park, MN; his mother, Lois Munger of Topeka; two grandchildren, Taylor and Grace Munger; and a nephew, Chris Petros.
Cremation is planned. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday at First Baptist Church. Private inurnment will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the organization of the donor's choice.
