Steven M. Trahoon

Steven M. "Steve" Trahoon, 67, of Topeka, passed away on Tuesday, September 19, 2023. He was born October 16, 1955 in Topeka, the son of Floyd L. and Elizabeth M. (Paul) Trahoon.
Steve graduated from Topeka West High School. He was employed by Gage Tavern for several years and later Washburn Rural Middle School from 1996 - 2010 before retiring.
Survivors include one son, Kevin S. (Nicole) Trahoon of Topeka, seven grandchildren, Brittany Puff, Brandan Trahoon, Tamara Puff, Christopher Puff, Desirae Trahoon, Shamar Trahoon and Kylee Trahoon, one great-grandson, Riley Hundertfund, and his siblings, Sue (Tim) Gaggero and Floyd (Debbie) Trahoon.
Steve was preceded in death by his parents and one granddaughter, Ashlie Nicole Hundertfund.
Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, September 28, 2023 at Highland Heights Christian Church, 2930 SE Tecumseh Rd., Tecumseh, Kansas 66542 where the family will receive friends one hour prior to service time. Burial will follow in Topeka Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, Tennessee 38105.
Dove Southeast Chapel, 2843 SE Minnesota Ave. is assisting the family with service arrangements.
