With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved Suzanne Meredith, who left us on January 7th at the age of 66. Suzanne was a loving mother, devoted wife, friend, and an unwavering source of strength to all who knew her. She will be remembered for her kindness, compassion and her ability to light up every room with her infectious smile.

Born on September 28, 1958, Suzanne spent her life creating a beautiful, nurturing environment for her family. She was a dedicated wife and mother. Her love and guidance will forever shape the lives of those she cherished most. She spent 37 years and retired with the Department of Revenue as a Procurement Officer. 

Suzanne’s life was marked by a deep love for her family, a passion for helping others, and endless travel adventures with the Washburn University Alumni Association. She loved quilting, crocheting, and cross stitching, always finding joy in the simple moments. Through heartfelt gestures and conversations, she listened without judgment. Suzanne’s presence was a gift to everyone she encountered.

Suzanne is survived by her husband of 31 Years, Timothy Mesa; her children, Shawn (Corinne) Meredith, Matthew Meredith, Michael Mesa, and Michelle Mesa; grandchildren, TJ, Theo, Jaxson, Bobby and Vinny; her best friend, Donna (Paul) Nutter and her father, Ron Stevens. She was proceeded in death by her brother, Jim Stevens and her mother, Emmy Lou Stevens. Her legacy of love, strength, caring, compassion and kindness will live on in the hearts of her family and friends.

A visitation will be held 3:00 p.m., Wednesday January 15, 2025 at Dove Cremations & Funerals Southwest Chapel Reception Hall, 3700 SW Wanamaker Rd, Topeka. A celebration of Suzanne’s life will follow at Skinny’s Sports Bar & Grill, 4016 SW Huntoon, Topeka. 

Rest in peace, Suzanne. You will never be forgotten, and your love will continue to guide us in our daily journeys and continued adventures.
