Suzue Schultz, 90, of Topeka, passed away Monday, February 6, 2023.
She was born April 12, 1932, in Shizuoka, Japan, the daughter of Umejiro and Fusa Uno.
Suzue was employed as a hostess at the Topeka Club.
Suzue married Jack Casey on March 26, 1956 in Japan; they later divorced. He still survives in Colorado. She then married William S. Schultz on August 18, 1978 in Topeka. He preceded her in death on March 24, 2016. Survivors include her children, Billy Joe Casey (Sue) and his children Lane Casey and Gage Casey, all of Topeka; Linda J. Casey and her children Mark Anthony Wilson, Jr. and Vanessa Wilson, all of Topeka; LeeAnn Johnson Casey (Claude Smith) and her children D.J. Johnson, Donisha Jones and Andre Smith, all of San Diego; and Lisa Dinwiddie (Pat) of Maple Hill; in addition to several great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Interment will be at Mount Hope Cemetery and Funeral Chapel in Topeka, Kansas. Memorial contributions may be made to the Helping Hands Humane Society, 5720 SW 21st, Topeka, KS 66604-3720.
