Teresa A. Stark

Teresa Annette (Moore) Stark, 62, of Topeka, passed away Friday, September 27, 2024.

She was born January 4, 1962, in Bakersfield, CA, the daughter of Betty Kathryn Elliott Moore. 

She was a member of Redemption Road Church.

Teresa married Gary Stark on July 2, 1983 in Apple Valley, CA. He survives in Topeka. Other survivors include children, Chris Tanner, Shawn Tanner, Megan Stark Bell, Alexas Tanner Schwed, Breanna Tanner and Elizabeth Tanner.

She was preceded in death by her parents and two sons, Travis Wayne Stark and Gary Jordan Stark.

Evangelist Teresa loved her family and her faith. She was a strong woman of faith in Jesus Christ. She wrote and recorded many songs and children’s books. She enjoyed decorating and cooking for the holidays and was a great designer. She could decorate anything inside or outside of the house! She loved everyone she came into contact with, never a harmful word. She did a lot of volunteer work for various people in need. She loved animals.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm- 8:00 pm, Thursday, October 3, 2024 at Dove Cremations & Funerals, Southeast Chapel, 2843 SE Minnesota Ave, Topeka.

A funeral ceremony will be 1:00 pm, Friday, October 4, 2024 at Family of God Church, 1231 NW Eugene St., Topeka, KS 66608. She will be laid to rest at Mount Hope Cemetery, Topeka.
