Terry L. Wright

Terry L. Wright, 72, of Topeka, passed away on Friday, July 31, 2020. He was born November 15, 1947 in Burlington, Kansas, the son of Loyd and Lorraine (Laws) Wright.
Terry graduated from Lyndon High School in 1967. He was a Navy Veteran, serving during the Vietnam War. He was employed by Hills Pet Nutrition for 32 years before retiring and served as an Assistant Chaplain at a correctional institute.
Terry married JoAnn on August 7, 1971 in Portsmouth, Virginia. She preceded him in death on March 5, 2019.
Survivors include one daughter, Melissa (Chase) Credeur of Topeka, two grandchildren, Matthew Credeur and Gabrielle Wright and his siblings, Pam Rickel of Topeka, Gary Wright of Burlington, Larry Wright of Topeka, Gloria Matthey of Osage City, Kathy Vest of Topeka and Bobby Wright of Topeka.
Memorial services will be held at 9:00 a.m. Thursday, August 6, 2020 at Dove Southeast Chapel, 2843 SE Minnesota Ave. Inurnment will take follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the Salvation Army, 1320 SE 6th Ave., Topeka, Kansas 66607.
