Thelma V. Veesart, 81, of Topeka, passed away, Friday, April 25, 2008 at Stormont-Vail Hospital.
She was born December 7, 1926 in Washington, Kansas.
She had worked as a nurse's aide at Stormont-Vail Hospital and St.Francis Hospital many years.
She married Raymond F. Veesart August 10, 1946. He preceded her in death January 26, 1992. Survivors include her son, Robert Lillibridge, her daughters, Diana Swafford, Judy Bolze, her brother, Donald Lillibridge, 10 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.
Cremation is planned. The family will greet friends from 3:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.Wednesday April 30, 2008 at the Newcomer Family Funeral Home. Memorial services will follow at 11:00 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Private inurnment will be at Mt.Hope Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be given to Helping Hands Humane Society.
