Thelma W. Robinson, 98, Topeka, died Saturday, September 27, 2014 at Brewster Health Center.

She was born October 29, 1915 in Altoona, Pennsylvania, the daughter of Orville and Ethel Wood. She married Dr. William H. Robinson III on May 9, 1942 in Altoona. They had two children, William Robinson, Edmond, Oklahoma, and Sally Schoenhals, Topeka. She is survived by her children, four grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

Thelma was a member of the West Hills Garden and Sewing Clubs as well as a longtime member of the First United Methodist Church, where she served as the Sunday School Treasurer for over 15 years. She was also a lifetime member of Eastern Star. She enjoyed bowling and driving her five-speed Honda well into her 80's.

The family would like to thank the staff at Brewster Health Center, Memory Unit, for their loving care over the years.

Graveside services will be held at Mount Hope Cemetery, Monday, September 29, 2014 at 1:00pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the charity of your choice.

Penwell-Gabel Southwest Chapel is assisting the family with the arrangements.
