Thelma E. Webb, 82, of Topeka, passed away on Saturday, January 29, 2022 at a Topeka hospital. She was born May 2, 1939 in Topeka, the daughter of Henry and Anna Mae (Bundy) Thomas.

Thelma attended Highland Park High School. She was employed in Food Service for Brewster Place, the United Methodist Home and McCrite Plaza for over thirty years before retiring.

Thelma married James L. Webb on August 6, 1957 in Topeka. He preceded her in death on August 24, 1989. She was also preceded in death by her parents, two daughters, Starla and Staletta and her siblings, Marvin Thomas, Carolyn Webb and Sharon Fulton.

Survivors include seven children, Kevin Brown of Topeka, Lee Webb of Topeka, Larron (Pam) Webb, Sr. of Lakewood, Colorado, Sherrilyn (Mark) Webb-Gustafson of Fort Worth,Texas, Thomas (Diane) Webb Wichita, Leslie Webb of Arizona, Selina (Anthony) White of Miramar, Florida, 13 grandchildren, Jermayne Fulton of Topeka, Michael Davis of Virginia, Jami Strauch of Kansas City, Missouri, Larron Webb, Jr. of Lakewood, Colorado, Arianna Tivis of Fort Worth, Texas, Tiane L. Hoy of Wichita, Dominic Webb of Wichita, Anthony White, Jr. of Henderson, Nevada, Adrian White of Baltimore, Maryland, Anastasia White of Pittsburg, Pennsylvania, Zellron Porter of Topeka, Tray Porter Topeka, Amara Martin Topeka, great-grandchildren, Jordain Fulton of Topeka, Jamari Fulton of Topeka, Desean Fulton of Topeka and Isabella Davis of Virginia, Jadin Strauch of Kansas City, Missouri, Savanah Strauch of Kansas City, Missouri, Paige Strauch of Kansas City, Missouri , Gavin Strauch of Kansas City, Missouri, Langston Strauch of Kansas City, Missouri, Brielle Strauch of Kansas City, Missouri, Kamron Hamilton of Wichita, Jaleel Wyatt Wichita, Tylan Wyatt of Wichita and her siblings, William Thomas of Topeka, Mary Eagleman of Topeka, Roy Abbott of Topeka, Frank Bundy of Topeka, Pressola Abbott of Topeka, Alan Thomas Bronx, NY, Cheryl Newton of Topeka, Cynthia Newton Of Colorado and Maresella Newton of Topeka; along with several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 - 6:30 p.m. Friday, February 11, 2022 at Dove Southeast Chapel, 2843 SE Minnesota Ave. Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, February 12, 2022 at the Dove Southeast Chapel. Burial will follow in Mount Hope Cemetery.

In honor of Thelma and this being a Celebration of her Life, green was her favorite color. The family requests that those attending might include green among their clothing or accessories.
