Theresa Joan Rainey

Theresa Joan Rainey, 79, of Topeka, passed away Monday, November 4, 2013. She was born October 29, 1934, in Topeka, Kansas, the daughter of Curt and Wilma (Fitzhugh) Renyer.
Theresa graduated from Hayden High School in 1952. She was employed by Southwestern Bell and then at the Goodyear Tire & Rubber plant until her retirement. After retirement, Theresa enjoyed spending time with her nephew, Beau.
Theresa married Paul Eugene Rainey on November 28, 1964 in Topeka. He survives. Other survivors include her sister, Carolyn Dodge (Dick) of Gulf Port, MS; brothers, Marvin Renyer (Theresa) and Norman Renyer (Margaret) all of Topeka. She is preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Curtis Renyer.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am, Monday, November 11th at Dove Cremation & Funeral Service, 4020 SW 6th Ave. Topeka, KS 66606. A visitation will be held from 10:00-11:00 am. Burial will follow at Penwell Gabel Cemetery.
