Therese Marie Boiteau

Therese Marie Boiteau, 92, of Topeka, passed away Saturday, January 22, 2022.

She was born March 29, 1929, in Chicoutimi, Quebec, Canada, the daughter of Louis and Simone Bosse. She received a nursing degree and worked as a registered nurse in a hospital setting, later working as a homemaker.

Therese married Guy M. Boiteau. He preceded her in death in 1993. Survivors include her children, Nicole Gregory of Castle Rock, CO, Claude Boiteau (partner Suzette) of Buena Park, CA, Richard Boiteau (Gretchen) of Paxico, KS, Andre Boiteau (Diana) of San Bernardino, CA, and Chris Boiteau (Xianqun Zeng Boiteau) of Rossville, KS; grandchildren Danielle Hernandez (Uriah) of Beaumont, CA, Erica Boiteau of Whittier, CA, Genevieve Gregory of WY, Christopher Gregory of Greenley, CO, Alexander Boiteau of Manhattan, KS, Heather Boiteau-Price (Luis) of Manhattan, KS, Siena Boiteau of Rossville, KS, Haley Boiteau of Riverside, CA, and Eric Boiteau of San Bernardino, CA; great-grandchildren Sophie Boiteau of San Bernardino, CA and Aurihs Hernandez, Uriah Hernandez, Jr., and Madison Hernandez, all of Beaumont, CA; and family friend David Clement. She was preceded in death by her husband and her parents.

Therese enjoyed shopping and playing bridge.

A memorial service will be on Monday, August 8th at 10:30 a.m. at San Bruno Catholic Church, 15740 Citrustree Road in Whittier, California. Interment will follow at 12:30 p.m. at Queen of Heaven Catholic Cemetery in Rowland Heights, California with a Celebration of Life from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at El Cholo Mexican Restaurant at 840 E. Whittier Boulevard in La Habra, California. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association of Topeka, 3625 SW 29th Street, Suite 102, Topeka, KS 66614.
