Thomas A. Wilson, of Topeka, passed away on June 26, 2004 at a local hospital.
He was born in Hennessey, OK in 1921. He served in WWll as was a Buffalo Soldier. Thomas was the last surviving member of his family.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Lorraine Wilson. Also one son, John Bivens. He is survived by his twin daughters, Shelia McGee and Sharon Williams, of Columbus, OH. 2 grandsons, 4 granddaughters, 4 great grandchildren. Numerous nieces and nephews, family and friends. He retired from Dupont and Flexal Company.
Thomas will lie in state at Penwell-Gabel Southeast Chapel on Friday, July 2 from 2-7pm. Family will be present from 5-7pm. Graveside services will be held on Saturday, July 3, 2004 at 10:00am at Mt. Hope Cemetery. Memorial Contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society. Online condolences may be shared with the family at www.penwellgabel.com
