Thomas Charles Mcginnis
Thomas Charles "Tommy" McGinnis, 57, of Topeka, passed away on Tuesday, October 18, 2011 at his home. He was born October 11, 1954 in Russell, KS, the son of Clair and Mary Monahan McGinnis.
He resided in Topeka since 1997. He was employed by the State of Kansas in the Division of Facilities Management for 13 years. Tommy was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church.
Survivors include his siblings, Edith (Dennis) Melville of NC, Michael (Wanda) McGinnis of PA, Susan (Ricky) Farmer of IL, Colleen (Rob) Neff of IL, Carol (Randy) Lewis of MO, Peggy (Tony) Deghand of KS and Peter (Jean) McGinnis of KS and many nieces and nephews.
Memorial services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday at Trinity Lutheran Church. Private inurnment will take place in Esbon Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 p.m. Friday at Penwell-Gabel Southeast Chapel. Memorial contributions may be given to Trinity Lutheran Church, 731 SW Buchanan St., Topeka, KS 66606 or to the Epilepsy Foundation, 8301 Professional Place, Landover, MD 20785.
