Thomas E. Clark, 55, of Topeka, passed away on Monday, August 11, 2008 at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born on August 7, 1953 in Mexico, MO, the son of Charles Eugene and Opal Mae Blue Clark. Tom grew up on his family farm in Benton City, MO. He graduated from Rural Rt. 6 High School in Martinsburg, MO and attended Bell Howell Technical School in Kansas City, MO. He had resided in Topeka for the past 29 years. He was a computer engineer and owned and operated T.E.C.S. with his partners, Charles Clark and Earl Stevens. Tom married Beverly Myers in 1973. They were divorced in 1992. Survivors include their children, Michelle Clark-Schoenfeld and husband, Brian, Charles E. Clark, Jessica N. Clark and John T. Clark all of Topeka, three grandchildren, Vandellia, Danielle and Addyson. Tom married Jill Johnson in 1998. Survivors include his step-children, Jessica Sunderland Alber and husband, Victor of Colorado, Joseph Sunderland of California and Jaquelyn Sunderland of Topeka. Tom is also survived by one sister, Carolyn Dankel of Georgia and one brother, C.L. "Chuck" Clark of Missouri. Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday at Penwell-Gabel Southeast Chapel.
