Thomas W. "Tom" Rose, 63, Topeka, passed away on Sunday, December 23, 2007.
Tom was born July 27, 1944 in Omaha, Nebraska, the son of James and Mert (Ward) Rose. He graduated from Topeka High School in 1962.
He served in the U.S. Navy from 1964 to 1968. He worked as an electrician for Goodyear for 37 years, retiring in 2006.
Tom married Barbara Ellen Clarke in 1979. They later divorced but remained close friends. Survivors include son, John Thomas Rose, Los Angeles, CA; younger siblings, Steve, John and Bruce Rose and Jan Talbot. He was preceded in death by his parents; younger brother Mike Rose; and step-mother, Johnnie Rose.
Memorial services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, December 28, 2007 at Penwell-Gabel Southwest Chapel.
