Thurman Oscar Greis, 94, of Topeka, Kansas, passed away at Aldersgate Village on November 12, 2012. He was born on November 17, 1917 to Oscar and Margaret (Fischer) Greis at St. Louis, Missouri.
He married Morley Westfall on June 21, 1941. She preceded him in death on January 17, 2010. They lived in Hot Springs, Arkansas for over 30 years where he was actively involved in First Presbyterian Church, Lions Club, and Hot Springs Country Club.
He is survived by his sons, David T. Greis, of Kansas City, MO, Barry Greis and his wife Sandy of Topeka, KS, and their daughter Jessica Lynn Greis Edwardson and her husband Eric Edwardson of Arlington, VA.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
