Timothy Sowers

Timothy "Tim" Sowers, 61, of Berryton, passed away on Friday, August 24, 2018 at Midland Hospice House in Topeka. He was born October 26, 1956 in El Dorado, Kansas, the son of Cliff and Barbara J. (Smith) Sowers.
Tim graduated from Shawnee Heights High School in 1975. He was employed by Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company for over 35 years.
Tim married Clara L. Lowry on March 15, 1980 in Auburn. She survives. Other survivors include their children, Thomas A. (Emily) Sowers of Holton, Valerie A. (Hananiah Owens) Sowers of Topeka, six grandchildren, Harley, Quentin, Austin, Tabitha, Rylie and Harper and his sister, Jeanne L. Sowers of Fort Wayne, Indiana.
Memorial services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, August 30, 2018 at Dove Southeast Chapel, 2843 SE Minnesota Ave. The family will receive friends from 6:00 - 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, August 29, 2018 at the funeral home. Graveside inurnment services will follow in Pleasant Hill Cemetery southeast of Topeka.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to Midland Care, 200 SW Frazier Circle, Topeka, Kansas 66606.
