Toni Jo Cripps

Toni Jo Cripps, 69, of Topeka, passed away on Tuesday, November 23, 2021. She was born March 3, 1952 in Topeka, the daughter of Farrel Duane and Peggy Joyce (Aaron) Tolbert.
Toni graduated from Shawnee Heights High School. She was employed by Washburn University. She was a member of Heritage Baptist Church.
Toni married Larry Cripps, Sr. in 1973 in Topeka. They later divorced.
Survivors include two sons, Larry (Jena) Cripps, Jr. of Topeka, Farrel Cripps, her life partner, Donald Hajek of Topeka, five grandchildren, Sabrina, Cameron, Harley, Jocelyn and Jada, two great-grandchildren, Gabe and Felicity, her brother, Keith (Madeline) Tolbert of Tecumseh and several nieces, nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews.
Toni was preceded in death by her parents, her two brothers, Russ Tolbert, Matt Tolbert and one sister, Karen Rhoades.
A Celebration of Toni's Life will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, December 4, 2021 at Heritage Baptist Church, 1937 NE Madison St., Topeka, Kansas 66608. Private inurnment will take place at a later date.
Dove Southeast Chapel, 2843 SE Minnesota Ave. is assisting the family with funeral arrangements.
