Tony Cappaletti, 82, Topeka, passed away Monday, June 20, 2016.
Tony was born December 28, 1933 in Rochester, NY, the last of 15 children born to Giuseppe and Lucia Cappaletti. He graduated from St. Thomas Aquinas High School and attended Omaha Community College.
He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.
He was a member of Most Pure Heart of Mary Catholic Church.
He worked at Aksarben in Omaha and retired from Topeka Public School USD-501 in 1999.
Tony married Leah Shannon on July 5, 1976 in Independence, MO. She survives. Other survivors include daughters, Leanne (David) Houser, Topeka, Marie (Kraig) Stahl; and grandchildren, Victoria Houser and Christopher Houser. He was preceded in death by his parents and several siblings.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, June 24, 2016 at Most Pure Heart of Mary Catholic Church. Inurnment will be in Penwell-Gabel Cemetery.
