Tony Tostado
Tony Tostado, 75, Topeka, died Thursday, Nov. 20, 2008 at his home.
He was born Oct. 18, 1933 in Topeka, the son of Maracelino and Josephine Tostado, and had lived in Topeka most of his life.
Tony worked for a while for Santa Fe Railroad, and later for the City of Topeka and Champney Wrecking Company. He attended services and volunteered at the Salvation Army.
Survivors include three daughters, Birdie Louise Aaron of Topeka, Josephine Louise Trejo and Mabel Darlene Labra, both of Springdale, AR; two sons, Tony M. Tostado and James T. Tostado, both of Topeka; two sisters, Stella Ruiz and Virginia Chavez; one brother; Eladio Tostado; 14 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at the Topeka Cemetery Garden Patio.
Tony will lie in state after 10 a.m. Monday at Newcomer Funeral Home where the family will receive friends from 1-4 p.m.
