OBITUARY: Trent Jason Stanhope

Trent Jason Stanhope, 33, Topeka, died Tues., June 9, 2009, at Stormont-Vail. He was born Sept. 23, 1975, in Topeka, the son of William and Candace (Carter) Stanhope. He graduated from Topeka High School. He had been employed by Patio, Pool & Fireside; Swims & Sweeps; and Crown Trophy. Surviving are 3 sons: Brayden Stanhope of K.C., KS, Trenton and Anden Stanhope, and their mother, Stephanie Roberts, all of Topeka; his mother & step-father: Candace & Thomas Frenn of Topeka; his step-mother: Linnell Stanhope of SC; 3 brothers: Joshua Frenn of Topeka, Danny Stanhope of NC, and Jason Stanhope of SC; and grandmother: Echo Carter of Topeka. He was preceded in death by his father, William Stanhope; and grandparents: Ralph Carter and Jim & Irene Stanhope. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:00 AM, Fri., June 12, 2009, at Most Pure Heart of Mary Catholic Church. Interment in Mount Calvary Cemetery. Trent will lie in state after 3:00 PM, Thurs., at Dove Funeral Home, 4020 SW Sixth, where the family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 PM.
