Treva Foster Fehr, 90, of Topeka, passed away Friday, December 25, 2020.
She was born August 7, 1930, in Elk City, Kansas, the daughter of Bert and Dora (Mitchell) Foster. She graduated from Elk City High School in 1947.
Treva was employed by Crosby Brothers, Jostens Yearbooks, K-Mart and TJMaxx before finally retiring two years ago.
Mrs. Fehr was a member of the Lowman Hill United Methodist Church, of Topeka.
Treva married Wilford Elmer Fehr in 1950 in Emporia, KS. He preceded her in death on January 13, 1974. Survivors include her children, Stephen Fehr (Susan) of Staten Island, NY and David Fehr (Sherolyn) of Waverly, KS; 5 grandchildren; and Stephen's ex-wife, Loretta. Treva was preceded in death by her husband; grandchild Linda; and her siblings Fred, Emmet, Wayne, Bert Jr., Pauline, Wanda, Waunita and Lavelle.
Treva enjoyed her family and friends immensely, usually preferring to listen to them rather than talking about herself. She tried very hard always to include a compliment whenever she talked to someone.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, December 30, 2020 at 1:00 PM at Mount Hope Cemetery in Topeka, Kansas.
